Let it Snow!

Okay so I just got SO excited for Christmas. Seriously, it's the best time of year. It snowed today.. I woke up and was freaking out because everything outside was white!! It was so pretty. Before I moved to Utah, I had probably been in the snow like four times or something.. that is all about to change! And another thing... I heart Christmas music. It makes me extremely happy!

So lately I have been hanging out with Katie Baker, who lives about two buildings away from mine. So a little background on our friendship: we met in like 2nd grade or something like that, and were best friends all through elementary school! We were so much alike: both had glasses and very dry skin, had the same teachers, and loved to make powerpoint presentations instead of going to recess.. yep we were little nerdy best friends. Then in 7th grade she moved to California :( but would come visit every so often and Alexis and I, (her two bffs from Arizona!) would get together..

but now up here in UTAH we are all together again! So it has been so great to see them all the time.. and me and Katie just laugh about all the funny memories of when we were little.. we are still so much alike! I love it haha.

This is Katie, Mckenzie Porter and I at the BYU "Freezefest" party on Friday night. It was fun. The sugar cookies were delicious although the frosting was straight clumped sugar.. and the hot chocolate was lukewarm and clumpy. Oh and by the time we got there they had stopped giving out ice skates so we couldn't do that.. Other than that, though, it was great fun!!

Even Cosmo the Cougar showed up looking all festive! We love Cosmo!!

And this was last night: Katie, Alexis and their roommate Josie and I took a late night trip to Denny's! Woo!

To Begin.

Well this is pretty much my first post on my first blog ever, so I feel a little inadequate! So why did I create a blog? Well for one thing I can't even guarantee that I'll upkeep it or anything.. this may just be a phase I'm going through. :) HA but.... I created one because I felt like it. Because honestly.. although I have told people many times before that I do NOT like to write, in all reality, I actually LOVE to write. I think I told people that I don't like it because it's stressful... I feel like every time I write something, I am pressured to make it my best work. In fact, I won't turn in anything unless it IS my own personal best work. But here... there's no pressure. Kinda like my journal that I try to write in daily (ends up being like a couple times a week)- I just write about whatever I feel like! Woooooo!
